Elizabeth J. Ptacek is a Supervisory Attorney of the Domestic Violence Program. Her duties include training and supervising all current and new staff in that program and maintaining a caseload in domestic relations and domestic violence-identified cases. Liz establishes and maintains CLC’s agency presence in domestic violence coalitions. Prior to joining CLC, Liz was a Supervising Attorney at Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, where she represented clients in Order of Protection hearings and led various community education and outreach programs. From 2012 through 2015, Liz was adjunct faculty at The John Marshall Law School. Liz is a 2016 recipient of the Chicago Bar Foundation Sun Times Fellowship. Liz is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and has been licensed in Illinois since 2010.
