Zhulmira Paredes, Managing Attorney

Zhulmira Paredes is a Managing Attorney in GCLC’s Domestic Violence Project. During her legal career, Zhulmira has successfully represented immigrants in various family-based and humanitarian matters. 

Zhulmira graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009 and received her BA from UCLA in 2006. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Throughout her career, Zhulmira has dedicated herself to serving the community through her volunteer work with low-cost legal clinics, conducting “Know Your Rights” workshops and advising survivors of domestic violence. She is honored to join the GCLC family and continue the Clinic’s mission of helping underserved families and individuals.

In her spare time, Zhulmira enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband and their German Shepherd, Maximus.
