Ryan K. Harding, President

Ryan is Deputy General Counsel at GE Appliances, a Haier company, where he leads the Litigation and Risk Management team.  Prior to joining GE Appliances, Ryan was Associate General Counsel at two Chicago-based energy companies. 

Ryan received his JD from Howard University School of Law, and his MBA and BBA from Tennessee State University. Active in the legal community, he was a 2016 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow, chaired Exelon Legal’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, does volunteer teaching with Lawyers in the Classroom, and has been a panelist on diversity and inclusion and career-related topics. Ryan joined GCLC’s Board in 2009 and served as the Chair of the Cultivation Committee prior to becoming the Board President. Ryan is inspired by the great work the Clinic does and by the commitment of its team members.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys biking Chicago’s lakefront, watching a good basketball game, and eating plant-based food.
