Michael P. McCready, Member

Michael is the Managing Partner of McCreadyLaw, a personal injury firm with offices in Illinois and Indiana. He attended the University of Richmond where he received his undergraduate degree in only three years, followed by his law degree in 1992. After graduation, Michael gained valuable experience while clerking for a federal judge in Virginia. Soon after, he moved to Chicago to work at a local firm handling personal injury cases. After making partner, he founded his own firm in 1999. Michael is licensed to practice law in Indiana, Illinois, and Virginia, as well as in the federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.

From the early years to now, McCreadyLaw has supported many causes but finds a continuing demand for legal representation for the working poor. Michael helps address this community need through his involvement with the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic. GCLC’s passion matches his own for giving back, and he is forever grateful for the tireless work of the organization and its staff.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, attending the theater and opera, traveling, and exploring the variety of cuisine that accompanies all these activities.
