Catherine E. Goldhaber, Vice President of Membership

 

Catherine is Partner-in-Charge of Hawkins Parnell & Young’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She opened the Chicago office in 2017. Building on 20 years as a litigator, Catherine defends corporations in lawsuits involving product liability, toxic exposures, transportation, and commercial disputes. Catherine earned her BA with honors from Michigan State University and her JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Active in DRI, she serves as Chair of its Medicare Secondary Payer Task Force.

Catherine proudly served on the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Board and Young Professionals Board for over 10 years. She is honored to serve on GCLC’s Board and holds firmly to this inspirational statement from the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service: “When society confers the privilege to practice law on an individual, he or she accepts the responsibility to promote justice and to make justice equally accessible to all people.”
