Carrie is the owner of Carrie K. Huff Law Office. She advises and represents religious institutions in connection with risks and liability arising out of their public ministries. Carrie is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School. In an earlier life, she pursued doctoral studies in medieval literature at the University of Chicago, after earning a B.A from Penn State.

Carrie has proudly served on GCLC’s board since 1994, including four terms as President and Board Chair. Carrie is continually amazed and inspired by the passionate commitment, expertise, and unfailing resourcefulness of GCLC’s staff in meeting the legal needs of our neighbors in underserved and marginalized communities in Greater Chicago.

When not practicing law, Carrie enjoys opera, classical music, and theater – and is also a huge Bob Dylan fan!
